Over on my ning site that I own and operate along with a lovely bunch of team members and crafty members from all over Australia and New Zealand, there is a challenge running at the moment called the "12 Months of the Year" and what that means is that during 2011, each month we do a scrapbook page, highlighting what has occurred during that month! Sound like fun...well it sure is. For me, January was a busy month with lots of things happening and I thought that I would do my Jan month focused on Abbey starting school. As some of you may or may not know...Abbey is such a little homebody and never goes anywhere without either Stefan or I. She didn't attend Kindy/Preschool or daycare as she just didn't like to be away from us. We knew that this was going to be a challenge in itself to get her to go to school and I had to be brave and strong (I'm a BIG sookie) so that the transition would be easier for her. As the journalling says on my page, Abbey screamed for the first 2 days, they then had a break for Australia Day and then back for the remaining 2 days and I was expecting more tears and tantrums but she went off to school just fine and dandy!!! She is now such a big brave schoolie.
