Mid Winter Bash Swap

Over on Crafters Anonymous we are having a MID WINTER BASH SWAP and what that means is

We had to create enough Mid-Winter goodies for our swap partner to have a pressie per day for the 12 days during the cold, frosting winter season.

There is a prompt per day, for pressie ideas.

All gifts needed to be wrapped and placed into a decorated box for our partner.

Here is the 12 days list:

Parcels needed to be with our partners by the 1^st June 2011 and mine arrived from my Swap partner Kylie.

What a wicked DAY!!!

Today has been the MOST full on day in Crafting HISTORY!!! The team and I at Crafters Anonymous hosted a fundraising event to raise funds for Cancer - Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. We had an online cyber craft event ALL DAY. It kicked off this morning at 12noon (EST) and went through to the early evening. All that was given prior to the event was a supply list for all the projects that were going to be made on the day. What the members were making, well they had no idea. Each of the team members hosted a class and it started with Debi Ryan and Debi had the ladies make an Easel Teacup Card which was the perfect project to kick off the day. Then it was Dee's turn. With Dee we made a really cool Tea/Coffee wallet. Then Jane taught us a really neat crafting technique called Cracked Glass. Julia was up next and we all made a punch art Daffodil which ties in beautifully with the the logo on the teacup for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea logo. I then had a sketch challenge for the ladies and that was for them to choose to make what ever they liked using the sketch as inspiration. Thanks to Becky at Cardmaps for the use of one of her sketches. Last but most definately not least it was Anne's turn. Anne provided us with a colour challenge and that it was. The colours were those used in ABMT logo. Here are my projects for todays HUGE event. This is going to be an Annual event so if you would like to be a part of it next year, flick me an email and I will tell you more about it. The best bit of the day is we raised $501 for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. Thanks to the team for their hardwork throughout the organisation time and most of all Thanks to all the members who donated towards this great cause. EPIC DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
